90 minutes of total dross, possibly one of the worst games of football I have had the misfortune to sit through.
2 sides just going through the motions with minimal effort and no urgency.Half the crowd fell asleep watching this game.
Cannot think of anything that happened in 90 minutes, apart from ref booking everyone, and Walsh showing we need a new keeper.

Highlight was Burrell being back, that’s about it.

Boring dead rubber can see why the powers that be are giving us 2 extra play off places next season.

Its about time clubs were rewarded based on their finishing position too

I'm pretty happy with a point, good result against a strong championship side that are always sniffing the playoffs. Sorry for the fans that went but will definitely take the point. Roy hodgson is a very astute manager that knows how to win games. Their 1st points dropped under his guidance

That would be fine, if that had told us before the game that they had settled for a draw, and at no point would either team try to score and win, the fans had to endure 90 minutes of total dross, never been so bored at a game, worse than a pre season friendly.

Our wonderful fans deserve so much better than that. These things seem to be taken so lightly. Not acceptable!

That's a fair comment Romford because there is no excuse not to go all out to win the game. We had no harm in losing if we went for it. Can you just tell me that Edwards and salter were outstanding and are the future of this football club?! I know salter is injured prone but those 2 are premier league class surely?

Whenever it gets to this stage of the season I pretty much always remember an incident from back in my Sunday league days at 17/18 years old. We were fifth or sixth in the league, neither going up or down, out of all the cups. Four or five games to go. At training one night the manager overheard a player - one of the better ones as well - say the words "nothing to play for." The manager gathered everyone together and asked the player what he'd said. The player repeated the phrase. The manager nodded agreeably and asked anyone who agreed to put their hands up. Two other players did so.

The manager nodded and said, "he's right ain't he? You three #### off and if you want to sign for next season come back in August and I'll think about it."

I know there's no sell on value with JCS, but I think hes worth a contract for next season. Obviously, suitably valued with added appearance money.

But we are being linked to that young CB in Scotland, so I suspect we wont renew JCS and give a slot to a player we might be able to sell in the future at a profit.

I have read JCS did sign a new contract in the last year, not sure if that is correct ?.

We keep contract information secret, but 'transfermarkt' suggests his contract is up this summer. This database seems to be the "go to" but ultimately, who knows!! Scroll half way down.

This is the guy we were linked with in Jan, and perhaps we're lining up a summer move once we've cleared out the wages of JCS? Perhaps Morrison could form part of that deal as hes up in Scotland with Aberdeen right now.
