    On way home

Game of 2 halves, we controlled first half, they controlled second.

Faulin and Sandro run out of puff after 70 minutes and that ended any hope
    Of
a late push, although ball was headed off the line right at the death.

You must start with a striker at home to have any chance of winning, today 2 fair teams just cancelled each other out.
Early days but some good signs especially in the first 45 minutes.

Happy to see henry back in the side?
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Kelvin did really well today tbh. Not his fault he's played out of position and was expected to take the only chance we creared in open play.

Kelvin was outstanding from where I was sitting. Even did a few successful step overs.

I haven't such a high work rate / pressing game from us in a long time, (in the 1st half) and that must be down to JFH - with some excellent passages of play and some nice one-touch football. Henry, Ale and Sandro completely bossed the midfield, but total opposite of that in the 2nd half with Burnley dominant.

Overall, a very good first half but poor 2nd half. Strange why he barely changed Warnock's team at all. Stranger still starting with no strikers, again. Another clean sheet. Decent point and solid start to his tenure. Need to build on it for Tues now.

Special mention for Perch, who I thought was solid throughout and is showing good signs of improvement in the last few games.

Jimmy's was excellent, as was the overall atmosphere in the 1st half - much more noisy and a lot more singing than usual. I think we wanted to give Jimmy a good first impression of the famous LR atmosphere.

Joey's reception was decent overall when he was first announced, plenty of applause but a few boos too.

He played RB that day and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet. Never a world beater but a decent squad player. Its easier for some to talk rubbish about his Mrs and how he is the lovechild of Les though.

Seemed to me the whole team ran out of steam in the second half...unable to sustain the manager's tactics for more than 45 minutes, plus Burnley comprehensively outplayed in midfield in the first half just hit the ball over the top or down the channels in the second half and cut the midfield out completely - good change of tactics by Dyche.

So let me get this right. We basically brought on the best striker in the league once all our midfield were dead on their feet and on the back foot. Good move jimbo. Let's hope he learns from mistakes
