IMO there's no point in voting if you haven't actually watched the game as it's not going to be a fair judgement. You definitely don't get the full picture just by hearing the commentary; nor will you by only watching the highlights.

The poll is really for people who attended the game, or who watched the full 90 on Player (unless a stream was available of course).

We do MOTM polls regardless of the performance WeAre; but personally that's why I abstained. JFH blames the referee however, claiming the result could have been very different had it not been for his appalling decisions: http://www.wearetherangersboys.com/f...poor-decisions

If Barnsley played a more organised pressing game than we did, and made us look possibly poor at times, does that argument mean nobody played well at all? And if we had won in the end regardless, we would have been finding a MOTM?

We definitely improved in the 2nd half, as a team. There just weren't any individual performances that shone through.

We didn't win. I don't really understand your question.

Had we won that would have meant it was a better performance than the one we witnessed, and therefore would more likely have produced a MOTM candidate.

Player ratings I have seen suggest Smithies at 7, and Chery impressive at 8. What I'm saying is that all players aren't suddenly crap because they've lost a game.
