anyone remember 'stocks' in west ealing....few decent notches outta there mid 80's!

When I lived in Ealing we used to drink in The Anchor & The Coach n Horses opposite
On a friday I used to go out in trainers so I wouldn't be able to go into Stocks, but of course after a few you get a taste for it so we'd take it in turns to swap shoes so we could all get in

Top Hats was when i was still at school and we would go out and get p i ssed on a tenner. Jump the cab at the end of the night and you have had a blinding night.

Remember Stocks, i got hold of a bird that lost her front tooth, my mate called her Joe Jordan. Plenty of naughty tear ups in there as well, bouncers were well up for a scrap

I'm 47 and that was the reason we used to try and miss it on a friday, cause if you got nicked/damaged/or too phished you'd miss work on the Saturday when it was double bubble.

Didn't one of the bouncers get shot in the face with a 12 bore ?

i played pool in Stocks for my pub the wagon and horses on kew bridge, i decended into a ruck, also ,spent many Friday nights in the Rock Cafe/ Ealing boulevard . Last time i was in the Palais Baby D was singing let me be your fantasy live, oh the early 90s.
