Wouldn't that be brilliant? Three points from Villa and we're halfway out of the woods.

        The Villa game is MASSIVE.

Would anyone think a draw would be a half decent result or that a draw is no good?

A must win game? Along with a fair few in the past...

                  Likely wins; MANU, NEWCASTLE.

                  The rest, draws.

That's the way I see it today, however I am very changeable.

Biggest game of the season by a mile in my opinion. If we win then I honestly think the momentum will carry us through to safety. The pressure on those around us will be huge too.

If we loose, then we're in the same boat we were before Southampton and the momentum will be with Villa and the pressure will be on us.

I don't see it ending in a draw, although I'd happily take one.

I'm looking to make ground this weekend by Reading and Southampton losing (against Man U and Liverpool) but to do that we just need to avoid defeat against Villa. Yes of course I wd love to win and gain three points but we should not put extra pressure on ourselves by calling it "must win" etc. A draw against Villa and a win at home to Wigan wd be table-topping form so lets be realistic and remember where we were a few weeks ago.

Probably, leaving us still 4 points adrift but defeat would be a killer for us and would probably end it for us,whatever happens we can't afford to lose.

                          Spot on.

It's not must win, but is mustnt lose.

I agree- this isn't a must win, but it is without doubt a mustn't loose game.

I was joking with my "must win" statement, how many have we had of these already this season? A win would be great, a draw OK and a loss not very good at all although there are still lots of points to play for!
