gone? gone where? and why? this is silly if it s true...i know i m just one of the vast majority here who contend themselves by just enjoying reading the different posts rather than writing, but i find it very sad sad that one of qpr fans /9no matter how controversial his view are ) is driven out of this forum...it s a shame really. i hope he stays, i like this forum because of the different views, banter...not a baaaaa baaaa sheeep. when i finish a very depressing shift at work, very often i turn to this place to cheer me up.....today i read this title and to be honest it depressed me. respects to all fans, a + :impatient:

now i can t sleep,....once i ve watched a documentary about chimpanzees, mostly vegetarians but every once in a while , they go hunting other monkeys (not chimpanzees) and they eat them, they don t need to, but they become carnivores for that moment. some kind of ritual, maybe sort of bonding or establishing a hierarchy...all the monkeys looked content...i wish i .....ah sardines. ...now i know.

I was one who argued for him to stay, not because I agreed with him or even liked what he had to say but because as you say, different views are welcome! I did figure he would get himself banned eventually, not from a popular vote but from his personal swipes at others and it really didn't take very long, in fact he was well at it in the match thread Saturday! It's too bad he couldn't just post his views and leave the personal stuff aside but apparently he couldn't!

It wasn't about Marshy having different views, it was that he continually created threads that were thinly-veiled flamebait and regularly derailed threads along similar lines. He won't be missed.

Some people just might get carried away sometimes, but to him insulting fellow-posters seems to come naturally. And since then we have received several long e-mails from him that have not done him any favours, either.

Trouble is that it was way beyond just ignoring his posts. It got to the point where if you really wanted to avoid him you had to basically cut out about 20% of the forum. I don't think anyone can say that that is fair.
