Why don't the midfield score goals?

In the EPL the midfield goal stats this season:

Adel - 4 goals in 23 appearances
Mackie - 2 in 22
Hoilet - 1 in 16
SWP - 1 in 19
Granero - 1 in 20
Diakite - 0 goals in 13
Derry - 0 goals in 13
Park - 0 goals in 13
Mbia - 0 goals in 20

With that track record and Zamora out looks like it is all down to Remy and Samba to get the goals.

But shouldn't the midfield chip in a few more? Those stats must be one of the worst in EPL history.

Time they got their act together.
