There will always be cliques at Football clubs. Even during the Holloway years in Lge 1 when everyone talked about how much effort the team put in and how together they were, there were lots of cliques, doesn't mean anything, just the way it is.

agree..napoli (i think) successfully built a team round one player, maradona and another round gazza....adel is not capable, not his fault but he isnt. the team is unbalanced.Originally posted by Rieger View PostThe above is one of the reasons I rarely bother reading this site anymore. Only recently Kingy10 saw that our problem wasn't that. It was adel! Still I am sure a constant stream of negativity has fixed a lot of things in the past. Oh wait, never.
"Adel is the problem!
Firstly we have to build our formation to fit him in, he doesn't naturally fit in as he doesn't have a position. Adel is billed as our only source of creativity in the team so we try and play everything through him and to be fair he is just not good enough. For every amazing nutmeg comes a poor pass, or an easy lose of possession. Adel cannot take a corner or a free-kick, just cannot strike a ball! Also Adel's finishing is not up to scratch. Should have scored against City and should've scored again today.
So to summarise we are totally reliant on Adel to create everything for our team and when push comes to shove he is just not up to the responsibility."
also football is a numbers/percentages game and so many corners and other deadballs are wasted. i shudder to think what the number of wasted corners by adel is. guessing 70%.
im guesstimating thats got to be a loss of 9 points

I'm afraid you have misinterpreted. Can a team not have zero spirit and also be overly focusing their play on one player that doesn't deliver as much as he should?Originally posted by Rieger View PostThe above is one of the reasons I rarely bother reading this site anymore. the problem is we are just not good enough someone has to be bottom and this season its our turn.yes adel cant shoot ive never seen a player miss the target as often as him. we never seem settled as a team i doubt harry knows his best 11. tomorrow rednap needs to take the game to them a draw is no good . we as supporters have done our bit by selling out our allocation lets hope the players respond even if we go a goal down and dont give up ,attack is the order of the day its going to be a high scoring game , cmon u Rs

I think the **** has hit the fan with that story now... regardless of how much is journo, its out there now and will be believed based on recent performances. Can't wait for talksport to pick up on that... or shearer for that. Bad days! Nothing but a win (and a wigan loss by the way) will be any use now... :(Originally posted by kingy10 View PostWhere can one find Bush Babes?

I am delighted that on this fine Monday morning, there is someone so able to put a negative spin on things despite the good result and new found cause for optimism. Thank you.Originally posted by kingy10 View PostAnyone in any doubt as to the spirit of this side needs to look at how the team celebrated the goals yesterday. Look like a team fighting for their lives???
Pre-season friendly comes to mind

dont mean to look too much into it but both goals we scored saturday only a handful of 3/4 was celebrating with the scorer. I mean when soton scored their centrebacks ran the length of the field to celebrate with the scorer.
make of that what you will.Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

Maybe if he didnt do that, he wouldn't have been knackered 2nd half and been able to get to the ball being BothroydOriginally posted by GaxZE View Postdont mean to look too much into it but both goals we scored saturday only a handful of 3/4 was celebrating with the scorer.
