He should get a chance. We just bought him and he haven't played that many games at all this season. He came here to achieve something. As long as the manager wants him he will stay and fight. If he can't contribute he will move on. He is a bonafide teamplayer. I don't think Park is here to just collect a paycheck, he probably have more money than the team combined anyway.Originally posted by vespa View PostMaybe , but would we want that waste of space ,even in the championship ?

It's fine that you want him gone, as Park has clearly underperformed this season (as most of our other players), but it is simply not true that "Park is definitely here for the money". How much do you think Park's salary is anyway? Park's assets already exceeded 100 million USD before he came to QPR, and his investment and other income probably dwarfs his salary. Although his salary must be respectable, it is unlikely to have been Park's sole or primary consideration in moving to QPR, especially since he turned down better offers. Besides, Park's contract with Manchester United was quite decent to begin with, and he could have easily opted to stay there (and not get much playing time). Park agreed to transfer to QPR because TF and MH promised him an important role in the team and convinced him of QPR's bright future. Park was excited to make the move and wanted to help lead the team to a great season, as everyone expected of QPR.Originally posted by QPRSCLART View Postpark is definitely here for the money. get rid.
Playing for Manchester United can make a player perform better, but it can also make him fail and become replaced very quickly for being mediocre. Park performed above that bar and thus persevered, where many other talented players could not. In fact, Park has performed well and contributed greatly to all clubs he has been at prior to his QPR move. This season is undoubtedly the worst of Park's career (so far), but he did have a somewhat similar experience during his first season at PSV Eindhoven. At first, Park struggled to adjust to the Dutch league and was even booed by home fans, but he eventually became one of their most important players and performed excellently for them in the league and the CL (notably against AC Milan). While the current season is much, much worse than that particular season, it would be uncharacteristic of Park to give up before making good, even if it means finishing his illustrious career in the Championship.Originally posted by QPRSCLART View Posthe's a workhorse whose legs have failed him, and playing for utd will make anyone look better than they are..
Nonetheless, Park may still be sold at the end of this season, but he'll probably choose to stay if he can, and in my opinion it would be to the benefit of our club.Last edited by Joon; 11-02-2013, 04:39 AM.

Ridicoulous. What exactly do you base this on?Originally posted by QPRSCLART View Postpark is definitely here for the money. get rid. he's a workhorse whose legs have failed him, and playing for utd will make anyone look better than they are..
A team is supposed to help eachother perform better lol . Football is a team game. Park is THE teamplayer. He has always been doing exactly what the manager ask him to do. I think we are struggling because the team spirit is low, mainly because of all the changes over the last 2 seasons.

cue this thread talking about Bambi on ice, he should leave if we are relegated or not. he is the poster boy for everything that has gone wrong with our season Im afraid, the sooner he leaves so will some of the planks on here that only follow qpr becasue of him.
Im not convinced zamora or johnson would leave tbh, mainly due to the fact that i dont think theyll really be wanted by anyone in the prem (not many clubs make a habit of buying over the hill players with poor injury records apart from us).
In an ideal world harry will stay, ship out the dead wood nad some of the high earners, convince the core to stay for one season and get us promoted again. the thing that upsets me about all of this is the fact that adel will leave

Why should he leave? He played half the number of games everyone else have, then why is he the poster boy for everything that has gone wrong with our season?Originally posted by willis1980 View Postcue this thread talking about Bambi on ice, he should leave if we are relegated or not. he is the poster boy for everything that has gone wrong with our season Im afraid, the sooner he leaves so will some of the planks on here that only follow qpr becasue of him.

as much as you might want it to be this is not solely a park thread.
if you need answers to the questions above you might need to pay more attention to what has been going at rangers this season not just the cameos of a player who cant even stay on his feet without being challenged!!

Stability is what is needed should we go down
HR signed for 2,5 years and should be made to stay - I believe he will get us up again in a healthier stam than now.
We should keep every player than can not be sold for a least what was spent on them.
It will be a fun season in the Championship with a lot of wins
And there will be fun playing in the PL the next season after that

i think as long as we get 70-75% back for some of our bigger signings, i reckon it was worth the punt by fernandesOriginally posted by hh9 View PostStability is what is needed should we go down

the thing that does worry me is the state that last years prem sides find themselves in. look at wolves and bolton!!!

I heard that Samba is staying no matter what as QPR are building a team around him. Wise move IMO.
Another thing I'd say is if we go down we've got a lot of players who will do well for us, example Yun Suk Young, Ephraim. Harriman, Andrade etc. As much as my mind doesn't think about it, if we go down we've got a great chance to rebuild properly & some players might grow massivly with us. If we stay up Harriman & Andrade I don't think will ever get the chance as we will just sign playersUnder Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

When I ask you questions and also providing you with facts you fail to respond everything and keep repeating yourself in different threads. To me your repeating insults and insinuations are just providing me with a reason to call you a troll, a big fat one.Originally posted by willis1980 View Postmadara ive been over this with you countless times and im bored out of my bonce going over it tbh

I thought he was already promised to Spurs for exchange of Townsend + cash ££. That would be a better deal IMO.Originally posted by qpr View PostI heard that Samba is staying no matter what as QPR are building a team around him. Wise move IMO.
