Ive had a trawl as you suggested, and I think its a case of your so full of hot air where Adel is concerned, you forget what you say. You even bigged him up for getting three points single handed against Fulham, (but no mention of the points he cost us v Stoke (a), Reading (h), Everton (h) and the one i cant remember) which is very selective and some may say you are blinkered.

Football is basically a simple game, when you have the ball you try to create as much space to play in as possible by stretching the game high and wide. If you don't have the ball you try to restrict the space to play in by making the pitch small or squeezing the play. If you watch good teams defend every time the ball or an opposition player moves backwards the opposition will take the opportunity to step forward and press the play and squeeze the space.

Because Tarrabt always looks to come short to get the ball it allows the opposition to squeeze the play, others are afraid to make runs beyond Tarrabt because he will regularly loose the ball when trying a silly unnecessary trick and they will be out opposition and we will be vulnerable so we have little attacking threat.

Lastly I keep hearing of these chances created by Tarrabt would someone please clarify what exactly these stats mean by created a chance, do they include created for himself because I just don't remember many missed chances other than by him. he has cost us at least 7 points by my calculations. Also is there a stat for the number of shots per goal as I am sure he would be top of that stat.

We all have opinions but time will tell and his supporters will look very silly when he ends up in the French second division in a few years as his arrogance will stop him making the most of his ability.

Yep. Am I wrong in saying he got us 3 points single handedly against Foolham?

And the game vs Norwich: I said he shoulda scored the pen, did I not? Which backs up my previous post? Yes. But to put the whole blame for not winning a 90 minute game of football on that 1 chance shows exactly how much we rely on Adel. If we need that single penalty to win at home to Norwich and the other 89 minutes nobody else does anything worthy of winning a game, them it sums up how $hit we are. Just because we missed a pen, doesn't mean the blame for the draw sits wholey on his shoulders - I think you'll find there were 10 others on the pitch that contributed to the pathetic performance.
