cant see bale or beckford happenin. it would take a big offer to get beckford as leeds will need him if they are to get out of div1, so selling for small change just wont be worth it. cant see bale happening either, plenty of prem clubs in the lower half lol would take him, he wont drop to championship.

stead rumour sounds like it could have somethin in it. i think hes quite a good player, ive seen him play a fair few times aswell and like his attitude, hardworker.

not sure on anyone else tbh, people are sayin watson but im not so sure, altho i personally feel we need better defensive midfielders than mahon and legs i cant see him moving to us. i mean he wants to stay in premiership really and if not cardiff were sniffing... so doubt that very much.

      nevertheless should be interesting

nailed on - £3m plus add-ons, Coventry have a similar offer on the table but he wants Prem

After going up yesterday and watching Borrowdale, especially in the first half..... no doubt about that.

I've given him a few games to judge him on, but that was the final straw for me. The man is flimsy and hesitant, and his positioning is terrible. I was no fan of Delaney, but I'd have him anyday over GB.

A left back is a priority.

                    It is the following:

                    1. Stead
                    2. Watson

Both loans, I doubt we'll get bale as better clubs want him...

Agree 100% for all his faults at least DD was relativley solid in the challenge, I cannot remember one tackle he made yesterday.

Does anyone have any inside knowlege re the left back and striker - if we can get 2 decent players in - like many others on this board - i honestly feel we will shoot up the table. . . . .

Stead linked ealier in the week with Doncaster and Palace and at 26 and 6' 3" the sort of squad player that could give us better options, in the absence of Beckford, than Agyeman and Helguson.

yes stead not a bad purchase imho..... Not sure why we would be interested in Watson (think he is a great player - but not needed unless a couple of midfielders are on their way out) and a LB should be a priority before Tuesday....

I wouldn't mind Gary Hooper after seeing him yesterday.
