Kia Joorabchian on Harry, Hughes and QPR

Talksport interview from a couple of days back - 7m15s on agents in general, then at 19m30s for the QPR related stuff: (click on 1200-1230 link) http://www.talksport.co.uk/radio/lis...episode/105668

Well worth a listen and provides a lot of background on the Hughes era and signings that haven't been heard before.

He seems to be saying that we decided to get Green AND Cesar instead of Foster rather then getting one and then being offered the other a bit later..

Saying that Samba was one of the first players Hughes tried to sign but in the end the £12.5m in one payment was just too much of a hit.

He then tried to sign Brazillian international CB Dedé for 15m euros, and Dawson who we knew about of course; so he was clearly trying to address the CB issue, as well as almost signing Giroud until Arsenal came in.

He then tried to sign Ben Foster but he would have worked out dearer than Green and Cesar's combined salaries who were both on frees.

Once again Hughes appears to have been doing all the right things/making all the right moves, except on the training/matchday pitch where it was most important....

Bit confused why he's discussing all our tranfers plans and policies on a national radio station...? I'm guessing he wouldn't have the consent of the club to do so, and surely its unprofessional to be doing such a thing whether it involves his clients or not.

True enough Del, nevertheless he didn't have one bad word to say about the club.

I'd rather Mila Kunis and Kelly Brook but each to their own. :pleasantsuprise:
