Big Dan was a beast of a man and contributed to the R's cause immensely but I think that Samba is a notch or two above his game predecessor don't you think.....

Loved big Dan but CS is and will be far better

            The Premier League $hittu, yes
            Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
            And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Are you serious, Big Dan was good for us but Samba is a class act and will only get better when fully fit. I would go as far as saying he could potentially be our best ever signing. I watched him many times before he went to Russia and the guy is as good up front as he is at the back

Samba has more composure, better concentration and better distribution

Harry said he is only 40% fit....imagine Samba being 100%....no comparison !

Samba is the best (realistic) signing we could have made. I think we need to get the defence working as a unit though, because they got in each others way a few times and there wre a couple of mistakes.

I know people will tell me the defence is amazing right now, but that is partly because we are playing 2 holding mids = no attacking threat and mainly down to our goalie being on the best form I can ever recall a goalie being on.

Samba will be immense, but they need to click as a unit. Sh1 ttu's distribution wasn't the best and let's see what Samba's is like - as long balls to SWP and Mackie just don't work.

Both big black lumps but that's where the similarities end for me - Samba is a class act, $hittu was just a big lump.

I found it brilliant in the first minute on Saturday when Samba was bringing the ball out of defence and a Naarwich player tried shoulder barging him and musta flown 5 foot
