  • Tarabat as a number '10'...........

Harry keeps playing him behind the striker which is fair enough, but unlike other number 10s who drop off to get the ball he makes no effort whatsoever to get in the box once it gets out wide hence why we rarely have any more than one man in the box! You watch Rooney when he plays in the number 10 role. He drops off, he gets the ball wide and he gets in the box with other runners from midfield.

I lost count today of the amount of times we never have more than one in the box............a massive reason why we probably look like going down.

We just seem more interested in stopping the opposition scoring rather than trying to score ourselves. It's not looking good.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

The diference is Rooney is a striker who plays as a number 10 and Tarbs is a midfielder who plays as a number 10. It is in Rooney's instinct to be in the box, whereas it is natural for Tarbs to be outside the box and working from there. The fact the rest of our midfield is sh1te at getting the ball into the box does not help, maybe if had a team like Man Utd with the likes of Valencia, Scholes, Carrick, Giggs - players who can get the ball into the box, we'd see Tarbs also being in there more often.

Tarrabt doesn't get in box for two reasons. Firstly he wants the ball like a child so he can do his step overs. Secondly he is too lazy to make the runs necessary.

Tarrabt is not and never will be a midfield player, can't defend and too lazy.

I cannot remember a time this season where Adel has got himself in the box pas the centre forward. 2 reasons. 1. Not fit enough and 2. No desire - Adel treats nutmegs the same as goals.

When people can spell his name right, they can question his value to QPR

When are you going to wake up to Tarrabts weaknesses or are just so obsessed you never will.

Adel has brilliant ability but considering how much of the ball he has, the productivity in either assists or goals from him is very poor, that is the truth.
I think he's scored 6 goals in well over 50 games in the PL
                Great skills but underachieving

To be fair to Tarbs he's been slaughtered in the past for his lack of defensive work, whereas now his defensive work is superb at times we can't expect him to do that and be in the box as well. But I do take your point that most of the time we literally have no one in the box or just one with 5 defenders in there. Needs addressing fast.

Yet you have messages being posted saying Tarbs is lazy and doesnt work hard for the team!

Taarabt is the guy who passes the ball to the striker or helps out the wingers when they have the ball. Now either Derry or M'bia should be pushing up to get into the box thus is not happening. That's the problem.

You can't depend on Tarrabt for everything.

The truth is he's too good for us and badly needed a couple more midfielders that he could work with, like I would imagine him really good in the man city squad or Barcelona etc.

The fact is we never had quality players to go with him and ends up playing by himself in games.
