I agree with this 100%. It's nothing new though, I think a certain section of our fan base think that we have some devine right to get all the best players and for things to come easy. Was exactly the same when we were in the championship and people couldn't understand why Prem players were refusing to come to us. The fact is we are bottom of the league and have just signed two players that teams around us could only dream of signing. Lets not beat around the bush Chris Samba is probably in the top 5 prem CB at his best and Loic Remy is one of the hottest striking prospects in France at the moment. So what do people want? Us to continue to sign these calibre of player? Well believe it or not we can't so must take gambles on the likes of Jenas, who lets be honest NONE of us know what he will bring. Lets get over ourselves eh, be grateful that we have signed 2 genuinley quality players this window and admit that we are not an overly attractive proposition at the moment. Lets get fully behind these lads and actually see how they perform over half a season not one or two games first shall we.QPR fans claim themself to be great, but we've got a few that are just ungreatful. I haven't seen Tony Fernandes signing Samba getting as much credit as that deal deserves! Huge signing for any club in this league, let alone bottom of the league, nor the Remy deal. Infact I saw many people say what a let down this market has been, I couldn't believe my eyes. & the great fans are especially good at slating players before they've even played a game like our best player this season Ryan Nelsen, pointless signing was the cry when Nelsen signed.
I'm glad people use their harsh judgement on a forum because inside Loftus Road you wouldn't be spouting this ********.
I'm not sorry about the outburst at all. Wake the puck up. What if Jenas ( Harry's tried & trusted on a free transfer with low wages ) surprises you like Nelsen? I don't want to see you giving him credit then, it's people like you that ruin Hoilett's/Shaun Wright Phillips' confidence, that's if you're man enough to be a loud mouth inside the ground. It's really bugged me this threadComment

Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes

some of Hughes' signings weren't that bad, it was his inability to motivate them and get the best out of them, that was the real problem
Harry's already got a lot more out of the same players, not a coincidence is it!
Jenas will get a chance and then we can make judgements based on his performanceComment

Can't you stop posting because you're bring others down to your low level?
What was your last stupid thread before this stupid one? ' If we get relegated and Tony walks ' ? - Every real fan will stay, it's obvious. You're like that kid at school no one likes but keeps talking & everyone's laughing atLast edited by qpr; 01-02-2013, 07:23 PM.Under Les Ferdinand:

Now that's a top post. Seeing as I'm agreeing with you, can we get a room? I know a fella that works at a Travelodge in Hounslow that can do us a deal? PM me.I agree with this 100%. tbf that travelodge comment was just tongue in cheek. Some posters get away with comments like this however I am accused of being just damn right rude. Oh well guess I'll always be the bad guy on here and every messageboard needs one.I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!Comment

Did not believe it when Jenas/Bentley were first rumoured and don't get the logic that the club needed to push the boat out for CB/CF but not CM.
But you know what as ordinary as he is I bet you Jenas wont constantly give the ball away like Granero did against City or play worse than Park has this season or stand about with his hands on his hips moaning if dispossessed and refuse to run like some of them have this season. He is no Samba/Remy star but I don't think he came just for the money unlike a fewof the summer signings.
Similar type of story with Townsend tbh. Not many EPL FBs get beaten for pace these days but he will work his socks off and will not be tainted with the bad vibes of the dressing room either. So in terms of goals, with the club missing out on target man Crouch and PeterO, one likely supply of goals will likely come from breaks with Townsend and Remy speeding forward. At least I expect Townsend will not just pile forward and shoot from desperate angles like has happened all to often in the final third this season. Actually passing to a better placed team mate in the final third could prove shockingly successful and might even catch on.
Overall Samba+Remy are expensive but will I am sure prove good value but as the spending was not spread out more to improve the team a lot depends on Harry doing his Houdini thing. If I was to bet on it now I would bet on survival just about but I feel I should be more confident when the club just spent heavy.Comment
