Samba's the size of two men so it makes up for it. Seriously though Samba, Hill, Onuoah, Ben Haim (best-worst in order), not that bad. I think with the korean lad coming in, he may switch Fabio to right back and use him left back or bring in Traore. I'd rather one great center half paired with Hill rather than two ok center halfs.

Think they did not know until tonight whether or not they needed him. Bentley would have been a QPR player has Crouch come in. We would have needed Bentleys crosses. But now it is another matter.....so Townsend fit the picture....

        Harry's frustrated....

Redknapp described the day that he had billed as crucial to Rangers' Premier League survival prospects as "a bit frustrating..."

According to this it was Hoilett who refused to go on loan.

Harry would have liked Odinwingie but at the end of the day, there was nothing we could do. West Brom wanted Hoilett on loan and us to pay his wages, WHAT A LIBERTY.
We now have a top centre half and a top striker, a couple of Spurs squad players, who are probably better then our squad players and hopefully BZ and Hoilet to come back.
Add this to an easier fixture list in March and April, some renewed confidence from recent results and I think we've done ok in the window

Short of a decent holding midfielder, a striker and another centre back in my opinion.

Greedy maybe, negative maybe, but I don't think we've brought in the quality needed in the right positions to stay up.

              Hope I'm wrong.

Might have been a blessing not signing him as he gives the impression he could be disruptive by his recent behaviour. Plus WBA wanted too much.
