    2nd bid for Hangeland?

Fulham have refused an increased bid from Queens Park Rangers for captain Brede Hangeland. Rangers are close to bringing in Christopher Samba to replace Ryan Nelsen, but have still not given up their pursuit of Hangeland.

Not sure this is true to be honest- Would be very very surprised if we got him and Samba- has he even been that good for them this season??

    Taarabt made him look horrendous.

Don't rate him too highly these days myself. Still an upgrade from Anton though.

Imagine a centre back partnership of Hangeland and Samba

Ok so let's say we get Samba and one out of Hill/Samba gets booked... I'd imagine we will put Onuoha at CB. I think we'll be a bit light fi we get a few unlucky injuries. Don't forget Traore is made of glass. Hill's legs have gone according to him. Fabio has a bad back. SWP and Park have dodgy knees... I'd welcome another CB apart from Samba.

We signed a left back today mate dont forget

If worst came to worse we also have Bosingwa and Luke Young still knocking about, Mbia can also play CB

Don't think Bosingwa will be named in the 25.

am sure hangaland was our back stop if samba and rolando both said no. with clint capt cant see us signing more than one centre back on top of haim, who people seem to forget has only just joined whether they rate him or not.

Oh yes, forgot about the Korean kid. Yes you're right about M'bia. I've always thought we should have put him at the back more often, probably at the cost of Hill. Maybe it's not too late and we can see a Samba/M'bia partnership. But Hill's the captain and I am too wary of our vulnerability in midfield. What a shame about Faurlin, Diakite and Granero... I was sure they were the answer. Still some hope for the latter.
