Can't see Bale dropping a league, there will be plenty of premiership clubs interested in him.

Before deadline, I expect a left back and possibly a striker. One or two might be on there way.

Hopefully, players put in a shift versus S****horpe United.

Hope so pete, looks like the board and Jim are at least trying to rectify the weak positions.
          They seek him here.................

If we do bring in another striker, would imagin we would try to loan out or sell some of our useless surplus one's.

And i dont include vine as surplus, he's got to be given time.

why do you find this so funny Peter G? Bale isn't rated as highly as say Tarabbt but we got him. In fact most of the spurs fans don't rate him at all...you make out as if he is Ashely Cole. I'm hopeful!! Be positive for once!! maybe if we all focused on being positive for once then positive things will happen!!

so maybe he wants to find out what it is like to win in the championship with qpr

waggadaddy, I have been mr positivity himself compared to others recently so dont give me this focus on the positive, read my posts on simpson and vine and the team generally then try it on someone else.

I just think it highly unlikely that we will get Bale, but as also mentioned I will be impressed if we do as I think there are bigger clubs than us who will be after him.

Tottenham is our main contact in the prem and i doubt any other team in London will be after him, and will he really get that great of a reception at portsmouth? redknapp didn't sign campbell because of the fan base so this could be another issue, why go to the rival of the team he supports if he can stay in london and go to an ambitious team?
