    Samba and Crouch

Sorry if already posted, couldn't see them however! I saw threads about them but not these Links!

QPR manager Harry Redknapp wants to sign Stoke striker Peter Crouch and former Blackburn defender Christopher Samba.

Harry Redknapp has confirmed that QPR have expressed an interest in Peter Crouch and Christopher Samba but admits a deal for either player is unlikely.

Sounds like we are in the middle of a the footballing equivalent of 'The Magnificent Seven' where we are gathering hired guns to save our little village.

Samba and Crouch being too optimistic ? :sorry:
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

getting to the point where i dont care who comes as long as they come to play and not for pay day. I used to like the excitement of transfer windows but i have had enough now. So whether its Crouch/Rolando/Samba/Yun/Capoue/Odemwingie/Hangeland/Ollson/insert other i dont care. 90% of the players we have brought in over the last 2 windows have been complete let downs so its hard to get excited these days.

hope you're right Matty, clock is ticking and it seems very difficult to get players, when you're in our position
Don't want to sound negative but not confident of getting new players in the next 2 days
            Hope I'm wrong!!

I think they may be working harder on 2 more than others, so possibly the higher profile names. I also think come the 11th hour there may be a final agreement for Odemwingie.....

Harry should stop publicising his targets IMO.

Samba is exactly the kind of centre-back we need. He's big, he's strong and he is captain material. I don't know how we're going to afford his wages though

This is Harry Rednapp your talking about. The transfer window is like a game of poker to him. He knows what he's doing

Has he actually mentioned that he is interested in either Samba or Crouch.
