It's good to look for positives, so don't let me dissuade you. But you have, IMO, to be realistic. Stats can confuse as much as they illuminate. A two miles an hour daisy cutter straight at the keeper is considered a shot; it isn't a realistic chance. Bothroyd had something like two snatched chances, a header over the bar, and a goal. Our two goals counted for nothing, mind, because the game was dead and buried. We had more possession than MKD, but they had the better possession. Reasons why folks are so mad is because it was down to our team, its faults and weaknesses, the ineptitude of the players, that MKDs won. The entire team that played yesterday was poor, especially Anton, Traore, Mackie, Faurlin and Park, because they're poor players who have been consistently and persistently bad all season (but Green and Fabio have had some good games, Bothroyd one too).
