Not the fans, but the club as a whole. That's just terrible transfer policy that leaves us in this position.

Other clubs and agents must be rubbing their hands together over the fees and contracts they'll be able to demand in the next 7 days.

And we all know who must take responsibility for that state of affairs, the CB should have been priority number one last January, never mind the fiasco of the close season. The real question now is can Harry bring anyone in before the window comes crashing down? My own feeling was that as long as we were just about within reach of safety it was probably worth trying to get someone now rather than wait for the mass clearance which will follow this season, whatever happens.

We just seem allergic to signing a dedicated, specialist CB. It's been a case of make do for far too long, I just can not understand how this most basic requirement has been overlooked for so long.

Faurlin and Toilett are currently either not good enough or fit enough and it would be madness to change Onahura and Fabio, who have been just as impressive as Hill and Nelson in the middle. With what we have, I would go with the following.
