  • QPR eye Blackburn duo Dann & Olsson

Harry Redknapp wants Blackburn defenders Martin Olsson and Scott Dann to join his QPR revolution.

Redknapp sent assistant Joe Jordan to watch left-back Olsson in action after being tipped off that his old employers West Ham’s bid for the Swede was failing.

Hammers chief Sam Allardyce only wants to pay around £2million for Olsson, and Redknapp is now set to trump him with an offer close to £3m.

Rovers rejected Norwich’s £3.5m bid for Olsson on the last deadline day, but may take a similar figure now.

Redknapp is also interested in bringing proven defender Dann to rock-bottom Rangers - even though he has the unwanted record of going down with Rovers last year and Birmingham the season before. He would cost around £4m.

New manager Michael Appleton wants to bring in two or three new faces at the troubled Championship club, and is finding it hard to move in fringe players he does not want.

Appleton fancies Manchester City youngster Karim Rekik as Olsson’s possible replacement.

I can remember Dann being a decent centre-back, but I haven't seen him play in a while. Olsson would be a pointless signing as we already have two decent left-backs in Fabio and Traore.

      Maybe Traore is leaving?

Gosh if we buy Dann that would mean he has signed for 2 clubs that had been relegated in his first season lol
      Birmingham
      Blackburn
      QPR? lol

Gives whole new meaning to the term "relegation specialist". Smacks of buying for the Championship. Not slating the board or Harry for that - perhaps they've simply found that nobody of the calibre to keep us up is prepared to join.
