    Your match day experience......

At QPR how could it be improved.

Now I go with my mates so I'm not taking kids so cant really comment on the family section as I sit in South Africa Road but here are a few of my gripes.

    * SA Road is way to cramped at half time, there is no outlet for normal fans stand and have a beer without being trampled on.

    * Food is diabolical and has been for years.

    * Service to slow

    * Entry to the ground always good.

    * Stewarding....I dont really think they know what they are doing but in general they try.....

    * Box office staff are excellent, I hate dealing with Ticket Master though and the £3.50 booking fee has been covered in detail. Rip Off.

Anyway just wondered what you all thought......

ok, the SAR "members" bar was crowded but you got served and it was indoors, now we spend £650? to stand outside bogs in the cold and over crowded passageways...wonder what the health and safety peoplereally say!
anyway, no leg room...stanchions block some areas....stewards have been better, in the past they were over officious and busy. sometimes a queue for SAR but it moves quickly, the loft turnstiles though are inadequate and always long queues.
i won't go box office on matchdays but when i do, they have improved and serve quickly and politely ( but never any chit chat)
my expectations of grounds would be, get in, see game and go and er have stewards leave me alone....chelsea's were basically "mad"
arsenal and man utd stewards are just picking on away fans, imo causing trouble.

All I'll say is I love everything about match day & every since the big screen has gone up the match days can't get any better IMO
        Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
        And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Sit in Ellerslie when i do go nowadays and although it is very busy at half time once you have got your beer you can move towards the entrance gates and generally have a bit more space. If its raining you're ****ed!!

Saturday at Upton Park was ridiculous though, you literally couldnt move in the concourse at half time

I personally have no problems with the stewards and we must be very lucky with the ones assigned to JU

The major gripe for me is the £3.50 booking fee and I really wish the LSA would start a campaign to get rid of this underhand ticket tax or at least make a more reasonable as it is so unfair on those who cannot to the Box Office in person

Secondly and I know I go on about it but the Blue and White Bar and its staff in particular are a discrace to the club

Why they have to leave it until the very last split second before opening is completely beyond me especially as I could get a beer if I wished in any other part of the fround from a kiosk and when they do open the beer has sat there for at least half an hour and the staff are the most surly and rudest I would imagine employed by any service industry let alone having to check your change after every transaction, and next time you get served have a look at what is actually rung up on the till if at all!

Last time I went to the Club Shop was just before we went to Ibiza for that cup win so cannot really comment but those I know who do use it these days seem to have no complaints

All in all I am pretty happy apart from the cost of my seat of course which I still think is far too expensive and I think the away fans should be rewarded in some way with perhaps a paid for ticket by the club depending on how many Loyalty Points gained or a chance to meet the players etc

Oh a bit more space when getting in the Upper Loft would be good and perhaps buying a strip of land from the Council where the wall is on the left hand side to avoid the funnel when entering

the food is my main gripe. keep the pukka pies, best pies around imo. and bring back those yorkshire wraps, they were tasty. change the burgers and more variety of beer.

the problem is they treat football fans like no other sports fans, with contempt, no way would rugger or cricket fans take the **** that we have to:rage:
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble
