    Taxi for Mr Ferdinand....?

Loan deal agreed with Turkish club.....

Bursaspor have agreed a loan deal with QPR for defender Anton Ferdinand. He is out of favour and has not appeared in the Premier League this year.

Say yes, Anton. Please, please say yes....

That's all very well, but wasn't the plan to rectify our desperate shortage of centre-backs, to end this transfer windows with more centre-backs than we started?

Just checking, I may have misread the intentions.

Harry'll bring a new CB in. At present we have Hill, Mbia, Ben Haim and Onouha. All of whom are better than Anton.

Hope Harry can sort it out asap in bringing a replacement for Nelsen.

I still think that we have a new CB coming very soon as well. Maybe still Olsson

If Anton is out going we need 2 incoming CBs to even have the same amount as we entered the transfer window with (seeing as Nelsen is off 1st Feb) - and even then we were pretty thin on the ground.

I hope Arry has a few deals in motion and we don't get stung like we did with strikers at the start of the season :pleasantsuprise:

He may intend playing Mbia at CB.

Dont forget, Mbia i think was voted best CB in France when he played there the last 2 years, and looking at his defensive ability i'm not surprised. Also bear in mind this, Harry has said openly he watched Remy a lot while at Spurs, and in doing so will have also seen Mbia shine at CB.... It wouldn't surprise me at all if that's his plan, hence he's looking at lots of defensive midfielders to backfill that role when Mbia drops into defence.

Add to that he wants Olsen, and i wouldn't bet against Dawson.

For all we know there may already be a deal agreed in principle, but the selling club want to keep the player for their Jan games, and transfer him as late as possible. There could be many agreements made in negotiations we simply have no idea about.

Sending Ferdinand away on a loan deal would be just stupid IMO - almost like MH was still here running things.
He has a lot of experience as a CB in the league a good backup.
Has played well for Harry - the last 2 games he played no goals conceded.
We need him - get off his back

As it starting to look, we are more preparing for life outside the Premier. So far, we only got 2 new players in, however, one replaces Cisse, the other replaces Nelson? But there is talk of Taarabt, Cesar, Bosingwa, Nelson, Ferdinand, DJ all leaving. I am sure most of this is speculation, but I have a feeling that the club is already looking to reduce the wage bill. It worries me that we are not capable of bring more players in. Hope it is not at 23.45 of the last day of the transfer window to bring in more players!
