    There must be something about him that Harry didn't like.
    He watched him a couple of weeks ago for Bordeaux and can also play wide as well as Striker.
    Has 13 goals this season and could be a steal at £1.5million that Newcastle are paying for him.
    Unless he was back up if Reny didn't join.

    Dunno what cash we are getting for DJ but Gouffran looks quite good

          According to Sky it's £1.5million.
          But then Remy was set to join them, so maybe there is hope for us yet

                      We was to inexpensive for us to be interested in. I thought he was worth a punt especially as they only wanted 2M for him

                      Just starting to be a little concerned, hopefully we are doing business in private although given our recent history that doesnt seem very likely

                              Arsenal were interested in him when he was at Caen, were they back in for him? Had a disastrous start to his Bordeaux career so hopefully he's a slow starter. Im pretty shocked we're prepared to let DJ go so easily as we dont have another player like him

                                  Maybe he does not fit in with Harry style. When Harry described Remy he praised his 1.Off ball movement and 2.Pace. Perhaps Gouffran doesn't have both in his opinion..

                                      With all the talk of HR's excitement of linking BZ, Remy and Taarabt up, I doubt there will be any more attacking players. HR is probably looking at a holding midfielder and a CB.
