one thing about jim against the other managers..

what ive noticed more so is that jim doesnt hide anything..

example he has blasted our players and rightly so for poor performances.. dowie, de canio and especially sousa always used to cover up if u like.

take sousa's swansea post interview against middlesborough..

i am greatful that jim tells the players the reality.. lets hope he can actually do the hard bit and change our fortunes..
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
    Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

Yea i agree also, its a gamble being so honest though. It will be interesting to see how the players respond.

Worked for Fergie shorterm with ronaldo who came out in scorching form....Lets see if buzz can do the same...

Spoke to my son about this tonight and it does make you wonder, would players like Buzsacky, Tarrabt, Routledge, Gorkkss (only used them as example) look up to Magilton?

VEry hard question to answer. Time will tell. Players definitely capable of much better.

I said it before and i'll say it again, we should had gone for a more experienced manager like sven.... that would had given the players such a lift....

Time will tell.... and I do not think he has much time now...

Its ok calling them that but if he looses the dressing room then the season and squad is over....

IMO I don't think the players respect him enough...

Yes I suppose all the other managers were professional enough to leave those sort of things to the dressing room rather than really winning the players over by slating them at a press conference - sorry can't see that tactic working somehow...

"I've learned a lot tonight. It was an opportunity for the players who have not been involved so far to show what they can do and they were not good enough. We were not in contention from the first minute. We never played as a team. The standard was not acceptable"

So, surprise, surprise, once again all that tosh about Jim's remarks being unique to poor old QPR prove to be complete tosh.

For those actually in a world outside the little QPR bubble that was Martinez speaking last night.
