Re-writing contracts to the club's benefit...I wonder. Lots of upside for the players if they achieve, but what happens if they underachieve? If we end up struggling at the wrong end of the table, what incentives, if any, remain to encourage players to get their fingers out and keep the club out of trouble?

The incentive is perform or be f**ked off out the door by the club!

But surely questions would have been asked by Flavio if they were giving a 4.5 year contract to an average player in our league like Agymang? Not as if he is Torres!

Was just under a 4 year deal he signed but was reported by the club as four years.
