Left on page 3, where no-one knows where it is?

I took the common sense approach.

We have two threads that now will NOT be lost.

100% with Pete on this.

It was left on our main section where it should be, after the thread goes down to page 2 or 3 where people don't really visit, he moved it to where it belongs and easy to find.

That's common sense.

I still completely disagree with decision and feel it was highly insensitive to say the least to remove the threads during Tuesday when some fans may have been looking for them on various pages.

You may as well delete every thread that drops to page two if you assume that nobody reads them after a certain time period.

Still I have made my point and will not dwell on it and was just expressing my opinion on the matter thats all.

Think you've missed the point (or I have....)! It wasn't moved. Articles with new posts get moved to the top. No one had posted on it for a while so it move down onto page 2. I've interpreted this as then Pete added to another section (he never moved it).

No both threads were moved to the Memorial section during Tuesday as it was felt that as they had slipped to page two nobody would read them or make an additional posting.

My bone of contention is that this could have waited until Wednesday morning thats all but as I say I have no desire to dwell on the matter or fall out with QPR fans on such a sensitive matter.

actually I think the approach that would have provided the best solution would have been for someone to have made it a sticky at least for the day especially bearing in mind it was a match day. maybe something to consider for such circumstances in the future

I am sorry, but its a sad state of affairs to make a big issue out of this.

I moved it on Tuesday and have said so in this thread. Both posts were on page 2 and to avoid it being not read ot being lost I moved it into memorials. Its still in the main forum, you can still see it on Page 4 and it links to where it is.

Could we please move on?
