Dyer is good but that is all.
Something as simple as news of swapping Bos for Hangeland or swapping Park for Graham or Diame or something.
At least you could look at that and say well that is a simple improvement to the team.

thats just the point. there probably isn't going to be an ideal signing. due to the chaos that is qpr this is another chaotic, grab the best we can transfer window. the dawsons, sambas, shawcrosses don't want to know. therefore you have a choice, do you cry about it, or do you desperately gather together a few old warhorses in the hope that if you chuck a few quid at it someone might turn out ok? given the choice available, we cd do a hell of a lot worse than gallas. ben haim, for example. time to get real.

You make a good point and Nelsen+Gallas with Hill on the bench and Haim competing with Hill for a place on the bench is an upgrade compared to last month.
But if you take Nelsen out of that and in your judgement that is an improvement on last month?
