Can't see us getting anyone worthwhile in

Shame to say it but I can't really see where we are going to get the quality of player we need into the club.

We only managed to get people in pre-season due to offering astronomical wages and Phil Beard/TF sales pitch of a club that was going places.

However now that is clearly not the case on both fronts. We won't want to stitch ourselves up with another player on huge wages as the likleyhood is we'll be in the Championship next August. Secondly what kind of player is going to want to come to a club that is bottom of the league.

Going to be a real struggle. WIll have to be loans at best and TBH I can hardly remember any loan deal at any club being a great success. Most of the time the commitment or the ability isn't there, hence going out on loan.

Fingers are firmly crossed and hoping for a miracle.

I know what you mean but we have to try and HR is doing all he can to keep us up. Lets wait and see as there is half a season to go. Remember Wigan this time last year? from their last 12 games they won 8, lost 2 and drew 2 and finished above us! Anything can happen its not over yet.

We're unbeaten this year, cheer up, we may very well survive with what we've got (hic!)

I see what your saying, and anyone would be fool to think we're going to sign top class players. But in our defence, we are a London club, we have big names at our club already in Harry Redknapp, Julio Cesar, Granero, SWP and Park. We're also a Premier League club, we're only 5 points from safety, and our owners don't mind paying a decent wage.

I agree with the OP. We have to survive with what we've got. If we do, it will be Harry's miracle. We need players who will fight for the cause. Bringing in new signings in our predicament will dilute any smidgeon of 'caring'. They will only be here for the money and why come here if they are any good?

You might as well make a bonfire of 20 million worth of fivers.

Loan signings with a view to a permanent deal is probably how the board will probably want to do their business. There are good players out there who will see us as a platform to make a name for themselves. After all, the Premier League is the most televised league in the world. I think Harry will find some decent players

There are plenty of players out there that can come in and do a job. I think we'll do good business.

What's with all the doom and gloom? We're five points off safety in a league where 7 teams are in trouble.

We've got to play them all and that could be the difference!

realistically, we don't have enough goals in our current squad and our current defence is not good enough to survive, the Nelsen situation is a potential disaster
we need a couple of defenders and probably a couple of strikers, hard to see all this happening
on a positive note, we've shown a bit more fight and passion since the Liverpool shocker but need better quality
isn't there a limit on how many loan players we can have?

We've got DJ back so he will be like a new signing. We will have Zamora back soon too, and i'm confident Redknapp will get the best out of him. I think we need to sign 1 decent striker and 2 solid centre-backs.

Maybe what we need is a therapist/psychiatist who can get the present mob to play.

We are a cardboard cutout of a team. I can't believe how far away our club is from unity and pride in our heritage. We are a comic book side of disparate #####s who have no plans above the next lucrative contract.

Loan signings with a view to a permanent deal can work (Diakite) as can ordinary ones where players want to put themselves in the shop window (Taiwo, Pogbrevniak, Adebayor).

A CB and a CF are required and if they are of the calibre of say Lescott and Adebayor (not that QPR will sign these two), then they could just be the answer to staying up.

As some have ponted out, QPR are 5 points adrift, but Reading, Wigan, Villa, Southampton are in the mix, and even Newcastle and Sunderland are not far away either. QPR play each of these sides, 3 at home and 3away. Unlike Hughes, Redknapp knows how to win away games and has already picked up a win and two draws from 4 away games. So perhaps there is still reasonable hope.

Mate, I'll tell you a few success with loans.

                              Lee Cook,
Lee Camp TWICE he was magnificent

If you get the rignt players they can be perfect, look at Bolton with Sturridge or WBA with Lukaku.
                              Just need the right players.

Though I must admit as far as signing permanant players I can see it being a real struggle tbh.
