    Slight downer from last night

    Anyone hear Rednapp on MOTD say he is here THIS year to help us stay up?
    Might have mis-interpreted but came across as he's only here short term I.e. if we stay up

                      If he keeps us up and then leaves, I don't think it will be a tragedy of colossal proportions. I only wish Hughes'd done that at the end of last season.

                              maybe he means it is his job to keep us up this year and then next year his job is to get us challenging the mid table positions?

                                  This is how I interoreted it. Meaning this year his brief is to keep us up. SHOULD he manage to do so, next year is a clean slate with an entirely different agenda. 1 task at a time n all that.
