I liked hughes. thought he done bloody well last season in keeping us up.

what screwed him was the summer transfer window and not buying any center backs. then the injuries to bobby z and aj which left him with only cisse up front.

yes, his mistakes but things could have been so different.

thought he was a good appt at the time. i didnt think we looked all that in the preseason friendlies but assumed they were in 2nd gear or something.
TF's alarm bells should have gone off when none of the unknown gems found through databases of long term stats on performance
and ATTITUDE arrived. thats what MH and his team claimed. in hindsight its like MH's team credentials read, found c samba, dembele and kompany
