I would accept that if he was 30, but you are not relying the full facts on his ability. By the way, 25 goal a season stirikers are very hard to come by. Clubs don't normally sell themALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.

I accept that but 'normally' thats where rich benefactors come in...signing a lad on loan who scored barely more than a handfull of goals in the league below ours does NOT show any intent...or promiseOriginally posted by qblockpete View PostI would accept that if he was 30, but you are not relying the full facts on his ability. what a load of rubbish, so do 25 goal a season strikers stay at the same club forever? i see a lot of clubs in our division have manged somehow to prise goalscorers away from their previous clubs. Its only difficult if you dont want to spend moneyOriginally posted by qblockpete View PostI would accept that if he was 30, but you are not relying the full facts on his ability. Ben Sahar, Scott Sinclair ....promising youngsters from prem clubs that stank when they come to us. Lets hope we dont get another. Rather have taken a gamble on a lower league Striker coming up like Simeon Jackson or Beckford but we dont like spending any money and try to do everything on the cheap.

Agree about Jackson. Then again there was Frazier Campbell, Nicolas Bendtner and Ebanks Blake that were very young, and came from big clubs down to this league. All were superb.Originally posted by vblockranger View PostBen Sahar, Scott Sinclair ....promising youngsters from prem clubs that stank when they come to us. Lets hope we dont get another. I wouldn't write Simpson off as a dud.
My brother in law is a ST holder at Arsenal, rates him very highly.
WBA made the mistake of playing him wide right last season, as well as their ground being in Birmingham. Two reasons why he wasn't happy there at all.
Couldn't wait to get back to London quick enough.
Doesn't sound too keen to be loaned out again though...

Remember Blackstock? we loaned out our best striker that hit 14 goals the season before.... yet he was classed as expendable. He was the only true player that scored the goals, so after seeing that I would say that it can happen.Originally posted by qblockpete View PostI would accept that if he was 30, but you are not relying the full facts on his ability.
