The white flag isn't for running up just now, we still have a chance, until it becomes mathematically impossible, we will be playing in the premier league next season, and Hooper's goals, if we get him, will help realise that ambition.
If I were Hooper right now, I wouldn't be thinking of anything else, other than, where's my best hope of playing first team football on a regular basis, and it certainly wouldn't be Juventus.
But, if Hooper would prefer kicking his heels in the Italian football combination, then he's not for us in any case.

Lots on here (me included) were advocating his signing about 3-4 seasons ago... However, not sure if folks are getting a bit giddy with all the Xmas tipple flying around but PLEASE GET REAL.... Alomost nailed on certs for relegation by many so why is someone like Gary Hooper going to even consider joining us.... NEVER going to happen in our current predicament... If we were in the top 10 then maybe it would be feasible.... Not sure why people even give stuff like this a second thought as it ain't gonna happen... Bit like seeing some gorgeous model on a huge poster somewhere around town and wishing she was waiting at home in bed gagging for it.... It's just a thought and it ain't gonna happen....:(Originally posted by QPR Rickson View PostThis is the type of player we should be going for. He's young and is a quality player.
But we ain't got a fharking clue when it comes to be buying decent players . We're probly try n sign Juergen klinsmann to go upfront in jan.

Seems like a rehash story but don't think it is impossible. I am sure some of the players who arrive will surprise us. Working with Harry can attract players too.
Right now the club is due to lose a lot of Sky money and pay top wages in the championship. The damage is already done.
So long as there is some sort of relegation clause in the new deals it makes sense to spend now to try to stay up.

"Until it becomes mathamatically impossible we will be playing Premiership football next season." How do you work that out? He is going to look at the odds, and last time I looked the bookies had us down as 85% likely for relegation. Not many players are going to come on a 15% chance of survival when there will be stable Prem clubs almost certainly after his services.Originally posted by BUSHRANGER1982 View PostToo negative, that.

I say bring DJ Campbell and forget about spending huge money for players who will sign for QPR just for the money. Will we ever learn? How many of the players we bought since we've been in the Premier has added something extra? A good central defender will do. However, I just want to see OUR CURRENT players play with heart and never give up in all games remaining.
