    A very intelligent player

I went to Vicarage Rd yesterday and kept a very close eye on Tommy Smith to see whether he would solve our problem in front of goal.

My conclusion? A most definite yes!

He holds the ball up very well, has a great turn of pace, reads the game very well, brings his team mates into play & finishes well. He is also a work horse!

It would be the best £2m we have ever spent imo

Cleverley, who they have on loan from Man Utd looked a very good player as did Blackpool's no 19. The guy who name I have forgotten is a double barrel name and he is very tall, black, left footed guy. He was very good.

I've just noticed he was at Arsenal. I wonder if he's a loan player, he was very good.

              Definately on loan.

              Left winger isn't he?

Just found on he's on loan there until 17th Sept from Arsenal. The guy is very strong, a good passer & has a nice left foot.

He didn't come across as a LW though, more a left side centre midfielder.
