M'bia's role is to break up play, win the ball, and lay it off to players like Adel who can create opportunities. He does the job extremely well.

i thought he was outstanding, there was a free kick given against him that was plain ridiculous (if players arent allowed to contest for the ball then the games gone mad). he also looks like a player who is enjoying himself and views it as an honour to play for little old qpr unlike some others i can think of.

The key thing is his defensive ability. If he can't pass then Harry will tell him to pass short to someone that can and get someone to come and expect that from him. Pass to the passers and focus on his strengths. This is just a coaching issue I think.

M' Bia is playing exactly how I expected diakite to perform this year ....(sending off at Arsenal aside !)

The difference is with Diakite you just know at some point he'll overstretchor /dive in and you're constantly on edge witrh him .

More than happy to have M'Bia as our defensive midfielder ...and let Ale and Tarbs pull the strings further up the pitch !!

Thats what he is there to do. Few misplaced passes but aside that offers a lot more defensively than any CM we have at the moment.
