It is frustrating, sometimes I click on the link posted here to read an article but the page would not load in a legible manner, the text is totally greyed out as if it tries to superimpose some sort of a blurb on it for which I have no time, I just want to read immediately and if I can't then I won't bother waiting.

Agree with everyone here. But to be fair I also think the same about this forum. I still prefer the old version of this as well...

Agree the official website is proper pony (apologies if anybody on here is of a nationality in which this is deemed offensive :pleasantsuprise but with regards WATRB I have to admit Ive grown to prefer this (not so anymore) new layout.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

You have to click 'Enter QPR.co.uk' again due to a new EU directive introduced earlier this year that governs interactive websites.. I dont mean to sound like a geek but its what I do for a living. For the record though I posted on here a few hours after i saw the new site to say how awful I thought it was. Having said that I havent seen it on a tablet as yet... by all accounts it doesn't look any better though?

I agree, the old black version was cool, but it took a lot of tweaking/customisation to achieve that one and we have not been able to replicate this result after the upgrade. At least our site is not interactive enough to be subject to the aforementioned EU directive about annoying blurbs, so count your blessings

Its a shocking web site where a designers wet dream has been implemented at the expense of user friendliness and functionality. Sky news launched a new website a few years ago with white text on black background and swapped it back to black text on white background after a couple of weeks, as they had so mant complaints.

Who ever disigned that website, which has been rolled out as many pro football club websites is a clueless *****.

I agree, all the old site needed was a little bit of tweaking here and there, much prefered it to the one we have now.
Why do people today feel the need to mend things that 'aint bloody broke?
BBC site is the same, not a patch on the old one.

What I don't understand is that Perform Group knew the old website went wrong, they wanted to change it and had to wait a few years. We thought they would have it spot on, however it turns out that it's worse then the old one.

Like most of you I hardly ever visit now, I also find it slow and confusing.

Regarding this forum, we were crashing all the time and we had to fix it. We did improve the server twice but this new forum is faster, up to date and more stable.

I thought the new site layout was going to be like the Chelsea site, Perform have them on their site, so why did the rest go all wrong?

They should invite 100 or so fans off forums to beta test official websites before going live, could easily solve their problems. Official site was never great but the user experience is really horrible there now.

I won't stay on any site where it's white text on black. If you want it changed, complain about it in numbers.

The new qpr.co.uk site looks as though it has been designed by a seven year old with poor eyesight. It is truly awful.
'Only a Ranger!' cried Gandalf. 'My dear Frodo, that is just what the Rangers are: the last remnant in the South of the great people, the Men of West London.' - Lord of the Rings, Book II, Chapter I - Many Meetings.
