Credit to Wigan

Don’t often hear positive feedback about clubs so thought would flag up Wigan’s efforts yesterday.

Obviously my own experience only but the stewards and plod were spot on allowing fans to stand at the back with no hassle. Also stewards were friendly and talkative outside the ground making us aware of the bar outside the away end designated for away fans and they joined in with the banter.

Plus the layout of the away end downstairs was spot on and we should take note if we ever get a new ground. Big concourses with no obstructions.

Wigan is everything that an away day at Liverpool/Man Utd is not. Officials managing using a commonsense approach so credit where it is due

Pies were very nice.

Agree with what West Acton said. Good day out only spoilt by the train home being an hour late.

Would have loved to have got all 3 points, but that would have been a mugging, especially with the way we palyed 2nd half

Totally agree good ground type of ground the would suit us but round of the corners with seats DW hold about 25.000 which woul be plenty for us too. Good bar under the away end also like you said big concourse a

Well run ground there and a bl00dy good day and night out up there - just a shame we couldn't walk away with the 3 points .
