I beg to differ my man - I'm at the ripe old age of 22 and like to think I have that sense what's really important and what's not. Couldnt put it better myself Matty - I was of course generalising with my age comment. There will also be the more mature people who have a meltdown over a footballing loss as well.

When a family member dies of cancer, when a mate commits suicide, when an in-law gets beaten unconscious by 2 baseball bats, when you lose the sight in one eye, when a loved one leaves...ah F**k it! QPR losing hurts more.

Was proper miffed after the Southampton game ...... stayed sat in my seat till the stewards asked me to vacate the premises !

Was proud after the Man United game .................... stayed stood by my seat talking to other R's till the crowds had died down a bit outside !

Same score in each game BUT the difference was the effort put in by the team !

AND thats the thing that makes me have a meltdown :****edoff:

Big difference between a fan and a supporter. I guess its good the game has so many so called hangers on, I like the fact that its enabled me to watch football pretty much 7 days a week from any continent I want.

The other half dreads when game is on as well, as I get really moody when we lose/play like crap etc, so I've been a miserable bugger for the past 15 weeks! To be fair, she puts up with it fairly well, she even came to the Reading cup game with me!

Any Rangers fan that demands results will always be disapointed.
When i told my Old Man i`d got tickets for my oldest ( for their first
game) a few years ago ,hes actual words were ( i can quote them because my mates repeat it often enough )
" theyve always let me down, theyve let you down and the`re gonna let your kids down too !".
And he `s right , thats why it means so much when we do ,do the business...

I had the most astonishing twitter row with someone last night.

Basically he was a Liverpool fan who openly admitted to me that he applauded Spurs when they lost because they are a better team than Liverpool.....He is also not going to watch Liverpool this weekend as he would prefer to watch Sunderland v Chelsea because he admires their play!

He scorned and mocked me for not being open to watching the beautiful game for what it is and applauding the opposing team when QPR lose.

WTF!!!! Is it just me or has this bloke lost the plot completley?

Getting back to the point, yeah ,he`s a proper dinlow in a half and half scarf, complete football newbie t wat
