In fairness I think he is mustard and adds a lot to the side. Arsenal sending off aside, he hasnt put much of a foot wrong and looked brilliant alongside Samba in the centre of the park vs Villa until he got injured. Got ourselves abit of a gem in Mbia I think.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

100 agree - The Arsenal sending off sadly IMO cost us as he was vital for us in that game.
However he really is a good player, great touch for CB/DM .. I like him.
It is the sort of stuff you expect to hear, but you dont always get it from the bigger players. Fair play to him...
Can see the reasoning behind it though, if we had signed him on a 4 year deal and he turned out pony the club would have been slated for dishing out that contract. Just so happens in this instance the gamble woulda been worthwhile (typical!).
All depends on the details of the contract I suppose though, whether its QPR's option to automatically activate the 2 year extension, or whether after 2 years Mbia can say he wants out?

he only on a silly short contract though and we will struggle to keep the vultures away
I have a feeling this was always going to be a small contract. With him being young (Only 26 - So yet to hit his prime) he will probably want to move on potentially to a bigger english club. IMO!
