2008/09 = 38 goals in 51 games.
2009/10 = 47 goals in 53 games.
2010/11 = 53 goals in 55 games.
2011/12 = 73 goals in 60 games.
2012/13 = 28 goals in 22 games. So far.

Yes and when people suggest that some Spanish sides are weaker than in PL (which is rubbish) they need to look at the records he has in the Champions League. They guy gets more hat tricks than most strikers get goals!

Not IMO, no. Ronaldo smashed the PL aswell - in his final (I think?) season at Utd he scored 42 goals in 49 games.

Also, as Silvercue stated, Messi scores hatfulls in the Champs League as well so its not just that La Liga is poor at all.

What sorta wages we looking at?

I'm on 8mil a year now, AC Milan offered me 38million year :o That's around £730k/week. Not sure how that'd help dressing room morale though ;)

PS Fifa fan since 08ish, have gone back to Pro Evo in the last couple of years though, personal preference!
