The January transfer window if I was the manager....

http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/st...ermany?cc=5739 - Loan with a possibility to buy. He has a chance to show himself in the league he`d prefer. An absolute monster.

    or

http://www.thesportreview.com/tsr/20...a-ryan-nelsen/ - No Hughes but pal with Nelsen. No presentation needed.

    or...maybe more possible

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olof_Mellberg - 1 year contract. Experienced and still very good. Would give us 100%.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_Majstorovi%C4%87 - 1 year contract. See above.

    http://www.goal.com/en/news/9/englan...lton-loan-move - Loan. A future star who will give us 100 %.

http://www.teamtalk.com/arsenal/8228...ure-at-Arsenal - Loan. Has potential and could hit it off with his pal Adel.

Douglas and Samba, yes f***ing please.
Mellberg, too old for the prem now.
      Majstorovic, another oldie.
Guidetti, not a bad player, worth a loan.
Chamakh, ARE YOU F***ING MENTAL????? I'd rather have Macheda back as loan striker!

I believe Chamakh has the potential. Yes he has been poo in the Prem and he would be a gamble but he has the attributes to be a good CF. Wouldn`t cost us much. A loan would prob do it. The possibility to team up with Adel could kickstart him again. Watch what he did for Bordeaux.

Watch what Gervinho did in France. They come to England and cant hack it.

It would be a gamble but I think it would be worth it. Wouldn`t cost us much. If we could lure Yakubu back from China it would be a safer, but more expensive, option.

Would never sign a player that has gone to play in the mls/china etc, its a sign that they have got to a stage in their career where they have lost their hunger.

I know what you mean, but we can't take a gamble, especially up front as we have no real options
