Give it a rest will you. You were beating this drum the other day.

He had a bad and jarred knock to the neck which was obvious for all to see except you apparently. He was obviously in pain and when there's any such risk the club physios and doctors take no chances with necks, hence they put a support on it and send him for scan's / X-ray's whatever. They were more than likely standing over him saying don't move just in case it could cause any damage.

What i don't understand is you're basically slating the bloke and suggesting he's not interested.... The other day you said he played ok until he decided he'd had enough, and today you're saying he decided he wanted a shower......

If he was showing no effort i could understand your thinking, but in total contrast he's probably been our best and most consistent player over the last 3 matches even when played in different posisions. He's shown far more quality, fight and determination than most the team, hence why i think it's harsh and really think you're barking up the wrong tree.

              Each to their own though.

I think he's a decent player, one of the few Hughes made actually. Just think the challenge that floored him and the flapping about on the floor he did just epitomizes footballers today. Not interested was harsh on him but i just hoped he was made of sterner stuff. Barton would have got back up head butted the bloke and got sent off

Due to relegation and potential budget cuts, he was told to go down, lie flat on his back and get excited so they could use his third leg instead of a conventional pole for people to run round 10 times at half time.

Which is one of the countless reasons I'm very glad we have Mbia and not that tool Barton.

Mbia being okay is the best news we could have, but I wouldn't mind Barton back as well.
