    Relegation mini league

Sunderland ,fans calling for MON to go
Villa, struggleing to score ,top striker fallen out big time with manager, still nicking the odd points but deff in the mix.
    Wigan,same in out each season
Soton, couple of wins but shat defence so gonna struggle.
    Reading,as above.
West Ham,had a decent start but always run out of steam at xmas.
Narwich, doing ok settled down, plenty of spunk in the side, need them to get a few thrashings to drag em back.

All of these even where we are ,are very catachable imo.Id say by Feb we will be away from the bottom and with a nice little cushion of points too.

I admire your optimism and I don't disagree with you, let's start with a win over Villa Saturday!

Not at the moment. 1-0 up. That will be 3 wins on the trot and 14 points. How quickly things can change.

we can save ourselves, but a cushion of points by Feb would mean we would need to get points in most games and those around us not pick things up - they all look like sneaking points here and there at the moment.

It will probably go to the last game of the season again.

Our next 3 games are critical... not because it would be lost if we didn't get anything, but because IF we beat Villa it will bring us once again to pretty much touching distance to them, also clawing them into the mix further, but it will just give us a massive, massive lift once we get our first win..... thet stygma of the only team in England wihtout a win is weighing down on them and the longer it goes it gets worse.

If we can win against Villa, shake that negative tag and i think we will be buzzing when we have the next week's training and then go into Wigan, which is certainly winnable as nobody knows which Wigan will ever turn up... then after that we have a local derby against a faltering, but decent Fulham side......

IF we beat Villa, it's not inconceivable we could win all these games and if so, the deficit will pretty much have been wiped out completely.

Villa crucial though.... i think if we fail to win that, then we will be downbeat going into Wigan and probably only get a draw there, and again further downbeat into Fulham game which we could then lose.....

Massive swing of fortunes depending on Villa imo.....

QPR need to do what they didn't do very well last season against other strugglers and that is to win a few and avoid defeat in the other games.
Losing to Villa like they did to Southampton will not help the cause. Having said that I still think that the Southampton performance was mostly down to the players wanting Hughes out. Drastic measures by the players may have been taken to force the issue. If they go on a winning run and pull away from the drop zone I think many fans will be glad they did.

That's what I think too. The sooner the sin arrives the better. And if it is the villa game confidence will rise and 10-12 points can be won from the next 5/6 games.
