He might prefer to play CM but he was played as defender for the last couple years. In 2010/11 he was the best CB in the French league

He was good whereas Diakite? Going forward Diakite looks good but by God the bloke can't tackle!

Mbia was quallity, as he has been at CB against Arsenal, bar that one moment of madness, at RB against Utd, and now CM against Sunderland.... The guy is a top top signing.

Diakite worries me.... he has great ability bit even now it still seems after he gets booked that he is braindead and cant stop himself making stupid challenges and you always fear another yellow... at least Harry subbed him, which is what Hughes didn't do when it was obvious he'd get a red previously.

think Mbia might turn out to be Hughes' best signing for us.

Arry clearly likes him, Diakite and Granero judging from his post-match comments. I think we can expect those 3 players to get a regular run out in the middle of the park

Yeah he was raving about them... not sure how Faurlin will be feeling.

He will be gone in summer tranfer, only signed a two year deal.

He just needs to mark his man when defending as he was responsible for let Jonny Evans free to score last Saturday. If the players can cut out this silly mistakes ans stay focused then we will do better.

Option of 2 more. If we stay up, he will stay.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

M'bia was excellent last night strong put in a full shift as he did at Utd, he may turn out to be very important as long as he has no more rushes of blood as he di at Arsenal.

I think M'bia will become a strong defensive midfielder for us in the Patrick Viera mould. He's come back from his ban with a real determination to work hard and play hard.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

We lack width with that midfield though, always a worry

Mbia is technically top class, will get better as he acclimatisies to the PL.
Looked formidable last night, played well at RB on Sat. We leaked a lot of goals with him at CB
There's a reason several clubs wanted him, we 're starting to see why

He was not at fault for Evan's goal at all..... Nelsen was marking Evans and went to sleep when Evans ran in front of him. Also Ferdinand failed to deal with the initial cross and let his man headit back across goal.

The failings of that goal had nothing to do wiht Mbia....
