The team functions just about ok in defence and midfield. Nothing to write home about but fair enough.

Final third though is a bit of a nothing.

Need a couple of strikers on Jan 2nd and a lot of luck in front of goal between now and then.

Pinning our hopes on Campbell scoring seems daft, he isn't Premier League quality. I think back to some of the games last season, he was really poor in front of goal, seemed to lack conviction and confidence.

He don't like me one little bit, I've had to put up with his abuse and I still voted to allow him back on here after his ban. I didn't even get an apology from him, or a thank you for allowing him back on, when no other moderator wanted him back.

At home Harry can push some attacking midfielders further forward. But away the team is reliant on Cisse. Probably see several scrappy low scoring games before the window.

But to be positive if the final third was to the same standard as the rest of the team tonight would have produced 3 points.

Suggests the form can improve quite fast to a decent level with an improvement in the forwards in January.

1 season in PL with Blackpool & bagged em 13 goals. Barely given a chance with us at all - not enough of one to judge fairly anyway IMO. Think he should certainly be given a chance - scoring plenty at Ipswich, granted a division lower, but can only score against whos in front of ya. Im a big Cisse fan but would DJ be doing any worse than him atm? I doubt it. We wont be spending big in Jan so DJ and a loan might have to do.
