  • Pellicori needs time to settle in

He was making some useful runs and looked strong and chased alot of loose balls. The service to him was generally poor but he looked like he will prove to be a handful.

He looks like being a predatory out and out striker - something we've lacked for ages. If he had been given decent service ie crossed balls into the box then he may have had opportunities to get on the score sheet.

couldn't really comment on that as i haven't seen him play but lets hope your right.

our problem is, we always seem to buy players that need time to gel, which i wouldn't have a problem with if our team was strong & doing OK, but we all know it isn't so we need to buy players that are at the top of their game & be able to slot right in, but.....they cost money & for some reason our board don't want to part with that kind of money, so it will be a reserve premiership player looking for experience or someone who can't get into their clubs first team, either way they won't be up to the fitness required for championship football so will need time time to gel

we've missed our chance in the summer to get the kind of player we need
the only way to get what is needed is to pay way over the top for someone already doing it for their club........and we all know that just isn't going to happen.

first time seeing him play. must agree he did chase more than what helguson did.. but he was running like a headless chicken for parts. just felt helguson was putting himself in the right place more often than not.
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
      Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"
