Redknapp will surely accept Ukraine offer

I tried to put me in his shoes:

    65 years old
    6.000.000 a year
    10-12 games a year - a week work 4 times a year
Can live on the south coast
Just needs to travel to see players play - most of the outside Ukraine.

No way I would wait for QPR:
Owner does not know what he is doing - has no football knowledge
Players only there for the salaries
Probability of going down at a minimum

Some managers like the day to day part of the job & I would of thought Redknapp would be one of those.

You are missing the biggest carrot - only 15% tax. If he was in UK he would get about 3.5 of that 6 million. In other Western European countries he would get far, far less...in France soon he would get less than 2.

In Ukraine he will get nearly all of it. This would make him one of the top managers in the world netto.

If he does not take this job and takes QPR it (his declaration of interest in the Ukraine job) will only have been to squeeeze more money out of us....... I am starting to think Rednapp out already!!!!!!!!!!

If he takes the job it's for the money? That's counterintuitive of your very point..

Surely if he takes the job and pays the tax (that's assuming he does pay the tax) then it's surely as he prefers the day to day management of a premiership club

Don't know too much about tax issues but to avoid British tax I think he would have to reside in the Ukraine. He has made it clear he does not want to do that.

I met Clive Allen today, we had a conversation about QPR, he said Harry is interested & that he wont go to the Ukraine, he also said he would join Harry at QPR.
