Campbell was awful during his stint in the Premier League with us, I know he did well at Blackpool but they were playing 4-3-3, for us in a 4-4-2 he looked all at sea. Also, we tend to play a lot of long ball due to so little movement in midfield and Campbell is worse in the air than Cisse.

I can't see any alternative other than him to come back. We need strikers and nobody can expect Tony to spend too much in January. Especially as the other two strikers could be back next season.Comment

How is it unfair? He wasn't good enough. Both he and Bothroyd are Championship players, its hardly a scathing indictment of his ability. I was pleased when Campbell signed for QPR. What I saw was disappointing, a player who looked lost in a style of play that really didn't suit him.Comment
