This story is absolute rubbish - Mark Hughes sits in his office all day anyway and lets Bowen and Niedzwicki or whatever his name is do the drills.

So if he's having ameeting with the board about whether they are going to sack him or not it will not impact on any training schedules.

I would be very surprised if the players have got a day off because if there's one thing Hughes does bring to the table it's a really hard training regime.

The Blackburn players said the sessions he put on - even though he never turns up and does them himself - were the hardest he has ever done.

Bobby Zamora's upper body strength and percs are amazing now - pity he's still rubbish at football.
